Holly Kretschmer, RP, RPC, MPCC

Holly moved to BC to be closer to her family in July 2017 from Ontario where she enjoyed a diversified career in Mental Health and Finance. As a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, Holly has had a private Psychotherapy practice since 2005 as a Trauma Therapist offering client-centred, emotion-focused and attachment based clinical
psychotherapy treatments to adolescents and adults. In 2018, Holly obtained the additional designationin BC of Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC) and Master Practitioner Clinical Counsellor (MPCC). Her educational background additionally includes training in Conflict Resolution, Democratic Parenting, Human Resources and Adult Training and Development.

As a board member with OACCPP Mental Health Association in Ontario, Holly held positions as
Treasurer on the Executive, a committee member on the Governance and Public Policy committees, and
a panelist on the Ethics and Conduct committee.

Holly also holds a Finance and Business Diploma and has worked as an Accountant in a number of
global finance firms, including KPMG. For the last several years, Holly has worked as Finance Director
for a not for profit agency that provides counselling, education and parenting resources to prenatal and
parenting young women and their families to support their social and emotional wellbeing.

Holly is passionate about the health and wellbeing of individuals and striving toward providing health
awareness and education to communities to increase wellbeing. In her private life Holly enjoys hiking,
cycling, running, yoga, reading, nutrition, juggling life balance and spending time with family, friends
and the newcomers club of BC.
