Happy and Healthy 2015!

We hope you had a restful and relaxed holiday season.

New Year Celebration!

For our friends in Vancouver, please join us this Friday January 9th for our next networking event and bring in the 2015 with new friends and old ones too. We will celebrate the many contributions of 2015 and say thank you to our numerous volunteers, students and team members that have made all of this possible.

We will have a chance to hear from (and say good-bye to) Marlies Casteleijn, the graduate student from the University Wageningen going back to the Netherlands to finish her program after working hard on her thesis with us this fall. We also have Maggie de Vries, author and advocate, joining us to share her new book.
You will also have a chance to sign up to deliver one of our monthly community talks at Burnaby Public Library for 2015! There is limited space so register here today! NEW YEAR CELEBRATION at Vital Health in Kitsilano 6-8pm PST on Friday January 9th, 2015.

For our friends from beyond BC and abroad, you have the opportunity to celebrate the new year by getting involved and spreading the word about various local, national and global social media campaigns we are supporting. Follow us @Bridge4Health and like us facebook.com/Bridge4Health and also make sure you share with your friends, family and colleagues. We would also love to hear about other campaigns we can support.

Bringing on 2015!

A leader is anyone who holds her- or himself accountable for finding potential in people and processes. To reignite creativity, innovation and learnings, leaders must re-humanize education and work. Brené Brown (2012).

This year will be an exciting one as we continue with our strategic planning process. We are inspired by the work of Brené Brown PhD. LMSW (researcher and author) and are exploring her definition of leadership as Bridge for Health defines the strategy (what do we want to achieve) and organizational culture (who do we want to be). We hope you will join us on this voyage of discovery.
